Salamandroid 14″ Action Figure first look

EVS teased us with a first look at the Salamandroid action figure sculpt. There’s a lot of excellent detail here but perhaps no quite there yet?

EVS mentioned that it’s still a work in progress at this point and that there may be some changes as the process continues.

The figure will be 14″ tall, in scale to the Mevel Legends series figures and will be crowdfunded after the CyberFrog action figure, perhaps some time next year.

The process of creating actions figures can be quite expensive for low production runs, depending on articulation. McFarlane Toys  requires a minimum order of 10,000 units to fulfill their base custom figure service, so I’m sure that this is perhaps and industry standard.

Look forward to seeing more about this as time rolls on. Paint masters and extra pieces, like interchangeable heads and hands, or accessories, are always on the minds of fans.
